Big shock to Brazil football team, Neymar ruled out of World Cup qualifier

Sao Paulo: Neymar will not be able to play in the World Cup qualifier match against Uruguay next week due to injury. Neymar had a hamstring injury while playing in a Champions League match for Paris St Germain.

The Brazilian Football Confederation has confirmed that Neymar will not play in the South American qualifying match to be held in Montevideo.

Paris Saint Germain coach Thomas Tuchel said last week that it was impossible for Neymar to play for Brazil as he is recovering from injury but Brazilian coach Tite said the striker should join the team.

Neymar was ruled out of the match against Venezuela due to injury.

Brazil team doctor Rodrigo Lasmar said that even after four days of training, Neymar’s recovery was not enough. Earlier, Brazilian coach Tite called striker Pedro without removing Neymar from the team. Pedro was selected for Brazil in September 2018, but he could not make the series debut after a knee injury.

Please tell that Brazil had already lost five of their players for two matches. The list included injured midfielder Philippe Coutinho, Fabinho and defender Rodrigo KO. Apart from this, defender Eder Milito and Grabial Menino were dropped because of Kovid-19.
