New Delhi: India beat England 3–1 in the four-match Test series. After losing the first match of the series, the Indian team made a great comeback and won the remaining three matches. England’s team is facing criticism from all over after a bad defeat against India. Meanwhile, former England captain Nasser Hussain has also criticized England and questioned his rotation policy.
Absurd told rotation policy
Naseer Hussain has called England’s rotation policy absurd. He said in an article written for the Daily Mail, ‘England’s biggest problem is not selection, rest or rotation. Rather their schedule. This is absolutely absurd. So I agree with the ECB and understand that they are taking care of their players. But the problem is when they rotate the players, like I said earlier, this is not the time to rotate. By rotating the players, England did not give themselves the best chance of winning.
A big thing about Butler
Naseer Hussain, talking about Jos Buttler, said that Butler could do well, but he was kept in a hotel room. He said, ‘Rishabh Pant was shooting shots all around Ahmedabad. While Butler is the only player from England who can perform like this, he was still sitting in a hotel room in the same city and has been rested before the series of the bowling ball. It didn’t feel right to me at all.
England took knee
In the Test series against India, England succumbed to the Indian spinners. After winning the first Test of the series by 227 runs, England lost the second Test by 317 runs, while in the third Test, they lost by 10 wickets. England lost by an innings and 25 runs in the last Test of the series.
