Ahmedabad: In the IPL Auction 2021, Team India’s Test Expert Cheteshwar Pujara (Cheteshwar Pujara) was bought by MS Dhoni’s (MS Dhoni) Chennai Super Kings team at a base price of Rs 50 lakh.
After 7 years, Cheteshwar Pujara (IPL) is back in the IPL. He said that participation in the T20 league will not harm the preparations for the Test series against England on their land as they will get a chance to play a lot of county matches before that.

Pujara said in the virtual press conference, ‘I am really happy to be a part of IPL. It would be good to come back again and I would like to thank Chennai Super Kings (CSK) who bought me. Talking about county cricket, I will have a lot of time before playing the Test series against England.

Cheteshwar Pujara has the best experience of English County Cricket. He has previously played for Derbyshire, Nottinghamscher and Yorkshire. The Indian team will play five Tests against England at the end of this year.
He said, ‘After the IPL is over, there will be a window in which I can play some county matches. I will decide on it after the IPL is over. But there will be plenty of time to play some county matches. We have to play some practice matches before the Test series starts in August.
