In the second of three ODIs against India at Canterbury, England won the toss and decided to bowl first.

England also made two changes, handing left-armer Freya Kemp in her ODI debut and bringing in fellow seamer Lauren Bell in place of all-rounder Ellis Davidson-Richards and pacer Issie Wong.

Kemp, who is just 17, impressed with the bat during the T20I leg of the tour of India – which the hosts won 2-1, becoming the youngest player, female or male, from England to score a half-century in T20Is and Became the second youngest player. Milestone for England in international cricket during the second match in Derby.

Seamer Kate Cross, 30, is playing her 50th ODI for England ahead of the conclusion of the tour at Lord’s on Saturday.

The game was about to begin in calm, cloudy conditions.
