De Villiers’ unique initiative in the fight against Racism, Kohli and Chahal also collaborated

new Delhi: The fight against racism has now reached the cricket ground. The players take a circle on the field barefoot and can be seen sitting on their knees. Former South African captain Abraham de Villiers has taken a different stand against it off the field and sang a song. This song gives the message of humanity and equality. De Villiers, playing for Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in IPL-13 (IPL 2020), has released a promo of this song.

He released the promo of the song on Instagram and wrote the words of the song in the caption, ‘Edge We Run Through The Fire We Find The Flame’.

The song is written and sung by South African singer Karen Joide and Ndlov Youth Chair.

AB de Villiers wrote on his Instagram, ‘Karen Joide and Choir have written this song. This song is a song of hope and our living together.

De Villiers tweeted the video of the entire song, writing, ‘We are all very different, but standing together we make the right picture’.

The video features Bangalore and Indian team captain Virat Kohli, Bangalore teammate Yuzvendra Chahal and South African teammates of de Villiers (AB de Villiers) Dale Steyn, Kagiso Rabada, Chris Maurice. De Villiers’ sons can also be seen in the beginning of this video.
