Former Team India cricketer Amay Khurasiya is the only cricketer who cleared the Civil Services paper. He was born in 1972 in Madhya Pradesh. At the age of 17, this player made his debut in first-class cricket. But before getting called from Team India, he cleared the IAS exam. He was posted in the Customs and Central Excise Department.

Amay Khurasiya got a chance to debut for Team India in 1999 after a long time. He got a chance to play in the Pepsi Cup against Sri Lanka. He scored 57 runs in just 45 balls in the very first match. But after that he could not do anything special in his career and his short career ended soon.

The career of Amay Khurasiya, who played a stellar innings in his debut match, was not very big. He played his last match against Sri Lanka in 2001. He played only 12 matches in his ODI career, in which he scored only 149 runs. Although playing for Madhya Pradesh, he scored more than 7 thousand runs in 119 first class matches.
