Due to IPL 2021, T20 World Cup preliminary matches can be held in Oman

New Delhi: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) will take a decision on the remaining matches of IPL 2021 (IPL 2021) at a meeting of the Board’s Special General Assembly (SGM) on 29 May. However, it is believed that the remaining 31 matches can be held in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in September-October.

Apart from IPL (IPL 2021), there will also be a bilateral series in the UAE. In such a situation, it is difficult to be in the UAE compared to the T20 World Cup.

ICC’s big plan for T20 World Cup

It has been revealed from the news published in Cricinfo that 45 matches of IPL 31 and T20 World Cup, including qualifier matches are to be held. It is very difficult to do so many matches on three grounds of UAE. In such a situation, the pitch is likely to slow down in the final matches.

In such a situation, the opening matches of the T20 World Cup can be done in Oman instead of UAE. But it will not be so easy.

Initial matches can be held in Oman

If the ICC do the opening match of the T20 World Cup in Oman, then they will have to seek the permission of the UAE government, so that the players can come to both the countries without quarantine. Explain that the UAE government has made different quarantine rules for different countries. In such a situation, teams will start reaching UAE from the last week of September.

IPL lost to Corona

Please tell that IPL 2021 (IPL 2021) was postponed to the 4th of this month due to increasing cases of corona virus. Players and staff members were constantly getting infected by the epidemic in the teams’ bio-bubble.

In the last 24 hours, 2 lakh 11 thousand 553 people have been infected with Coronavirus in India, while 3842 people died during this period. After this, the total number of corona infected in India has gone up to 2 crore 73 lakh 67 thousand 935, while 3 lakh 15 thousand 263 people have lost their lives.
