Sydney: Australia’s women’s cricket team all-rounder Ellyse Perry has said that playing the only day-night test against the Indian women’s team in Perth this year will benefit the home team as Perth’s There will be extra speed and bounce on the pitch.
Test match will be held in Perth
The Indian Women’s Cricket Team will tour Australia in September-October for the entire series of 1 Test, 3 ODIs and 3 T20 matches. The Test match will be held from 30 September to 3 October at the WACA (WACA) ground.
This historic test match will be the first between the Australian and Indian women’s cricket teams (India vs Australia) in 15 years and India’s first women’s day-night test.
Perry desperate to play match in Perth
Ellyse Perry told Cricket.com au, playing a test match there first – it’s a great place for women’s test. Perry was awarded the ‘Player of the Match’ when the Australian women last played a Test against England in Perth in 2014. He took 8 wickets and scored 71 runs.

Alice Perry said, the pitch gives a bit of extra speed and bounce. The ball moves really well. It is definitely in our (our) circumstances and the Australian style of cricket, but looking at the skills of the Indian batsmen, it will be a really good match.
