Suspense on Manchester Test

The BCCI has not officially said anything about the Old Trafford Test being played yet. A BCCI source confirmed to IANS on Thursday evening, a day before the 5th Test, that the ECB and BCCI are currently in a meeting.

Test difficult at Old Trafford

A BCCI source said that the meeting is being held to discuss whether it is possible to host the fifth and final Test due to Kovid-19. Earlier, Indian team head coach Ravi Shastri, bowling coach Bharat Arun and fielding coach R Sridhar were found to be Corona positive.

India lead the five-Test series 2-1 after winning the second Test by 151 runs at the Lord’s Cricket Ground and the fourth Test at the Oval by 157 runs. England won the third Test at Headingley by an innings and 76 runs.
