London: After losing badly in the Lord’s Test match against India, England has announced its team for the third Test match. Team India has to play the third test match against England from 25 August at the ground of Leeds. The first test match played in Nottingham was drawn due to rain, while the second test match at Lord’s was won by India by 151 runs. India lead 1-0 in the five-match Test series.
England chose this dangerous team
England has selected its team for the third test match, there is more than one dangerous player in it. An explosive cricketer like David Malan has been selected in the England team, who is the number one batsman in T20 cricket. David Malan is a dangerous cricketer like Rohit Sharma. Apart from David Malan, fast bowler Shakib Mahmood has also been added to the Test team. Opener Dom Sibley has been dropped from the team. England retained injured fast bowler Mark Wood in the 15-man squad.
Malan returning to Test team after three years
The team hopes that he will be fit for the third Test starting on August 25 in Leeds. Jack Crowley has not been given a place in the team. Regarding Wood, the head coach said, “After the right shoulder injury in the first Test, we are hopeful that Mark Wood will be fit.” Our medical team is working with him. When we go to Leeds we will see how his condition is. Saqib Mahmood is awaiting his Test debut. The twenty-four-year-old fast bowler was included in the reserve players during England’s tour of Sri Lanka and India. The spinner will return to Jack Leach’s Taunton but he will be included in the standby players as Moeen Ali’s backup. England’s Test team will reach Leeds on Sunday.
