Mumbai: After winning the Test series in Australia, all the players of Team India have returned to India. 5 of these cricketers have reached Mumbai (Mumbai). They have been advised to stay in Home Quarantine for the next 7 days.
Team India’s acting captain Ajinkya Rahane, senior batsman Rohit Sharma, fast bowler Shardul Thakur, opener Prithvi Shaw and head coach Ravi Shastri have arrived in Mumbai on Thursday morning from Australia.

Brihanmumbai Municipal Commissioner (BMC Commissioner) Iqbal Singh Chahal said, “Players have been advised to stay in the home quarantine for 7 days.”

Despite the injury to many players, India won the series 2–1 by defeating Australia by 3 wickets in the fourth and final Test match at Brisbane on 19 January, thus retaining the Border-Gavaskar Trophy.
Ajinkya Rahane, Ravi Shastri, Rohit Sharma, Shardul Thakur and Prithvi Shaw were welcomed by Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) officials upon reaching Mumbai. Rahane also cut a cake to celebrate the team’s victory.
