Dubai: Virat Kohli has gained a place in the batting rankings of ICC Men’s T20 International players. Now they have reached the seventh position. While KL Rahul retained the third position.
Rahul (KL Rahul) is behind David Malan (915) and Babar Azam (820) by 816 points. At the same time Kohli has 697 points.
Kohli (Virat Kohli) is in the top 10 rankings in all three formats. He is at the top of the ODI batting rankings, while he is in second place in the Test batting rankings.
Talking about other players, New Zealand opener Tim Siffert and fast bowler Tim Southee have achieved a career-best position after playing a key role in the 2–1 win in the series against Pakistan. With a total of 176 runs in the Siffert series, he jumped 24 places to finish ninth while Saudis took a total of six wickets, taking them from 13th to seventh position.
In his career, Saudi was also successful in reaching the top 10 in all three formats. He is at his career-best fourth in Tests and 9th in ODIs.
Devon Conway (62nd) and Glenn Phillips (72nd) are the other New Zealand players who have moved up the batting rankings.
For Pakistan, Mohammad Hafeez has moved up 14 places to 33rd position while Mohammad Rizwan has moved up from 152nd to 158th.
In the list of bowlers, Faheem Ashraf reached 13th, Shaheen Afridi 16th and Harif Rauf reached 67th place.
Afghanistan’s Rashid Khan and Mohammad Nabi top the T20 bowlers and all-rounders rankings respectively.
Pakistan lost three points in the ICC Men’s T20 International Team Rankings while New Zealand gained three points. However, Pakistan retained their fourth position and New Zealand sixth.
England topped the team rankings by 275 rating points followed by Australia (272) and India (268).
