Consent made for UAE

News agency PTI has come to know that the BCCI officials were recently discussed with some big officials of the central government. After this, a lot of agreement has been reached on organizing the tournament in the UAE. This tournament is to be played at 9 places, which have not been announced yet.

‘Hosting not safe in India’

BCCI sources said on condition of confidentiality, “The suspension of the IPL within 4 weeks is a sign that while the country is facing its worst health crisis in the last 70 years, hosting such a global tournament is really Will not be safe. ‘

The third type of corona threat

Significantly, health experts have warned of a third wave in India after September. Sources in the BCCI said, ‘India is expected to have a third wave (of corona virus) in November so the BCCI will be the host but the tournament will probably be held in the UAE.’

Things are serious in India

The situation remains difficult in India right now and more than 3 lakh cases are being reported every day for the last time, due to which most of the cricket boards are worried and the ICC will not take a risk regarding the safety of international cricket teams in such circumstances.

‘Players will avoid coming to India’

Another source said, ‘Suppose you decide that if the situation does not become normal, then no country would want to visit India for the next six months. If another wave comes, the players and their families will be very cautious. Therefore, it is expected that the BCCI will agree to organize the tournament in the UAE.

BCCI does not want to risk

The source said that after the suspension of IPL, BCCI officials do not want to take any kind of risk. There is to be an ICC meeting in June in which the final decision will be taken but after the postponement of IPL there is little chance of holding the tournament in India.
