UAE may shift T20 World Cup
The ICC T20 World Cup has been hosted by India this year but it can be shifted to the UAE. The BCCI feels that no team will feel comfortable coming here at that time.

Will be decided in a month
The final decision regarding the T20 World Cup will be made in a month. After the entry of Coronavirus in the IPL’s Bio Bubble, BCCI is also reluctant to organize a big tournament of 16 teams to be held in October-November this year.
Consent made for UAE
News agency PTI has come to know that the BCCI officials were recently discussed with some big officials of the central government. After this, a lot of agreement has been reached on organizing the tournament in the UAE. This tournament is to be played at 9 places, which have not been announced yet.
‘Hosting not safe in India’
BCCI sources said on condition of confidentiality, “The suspension of the IPL within 4 weeks is a sign that while the country is facing its worst health crisis in the last 70 years, hosting such a global tournament is really Will not be safe. ‘
The third type of corona threat
Significantly, health experts have warned of a third wave in India after September. Sources in the BCCI said, ‘India is expected to have a third wave (of corona virus) in November so the BCCI will be the host but the tournament will probably be held in the UAE.’

The situation remains difficult in India right now and more than 3 lakh cases are being reported every day for the last time, due to which most of the cricket boards are worried and the ICC will not take a risk regarding the safety of international cricket teams in such circumstances.
‘Players will avoid coming to India’
Another source said, ‘Suppose you decide that if the situation does not become normal, then no country would want to visit India for the next six months. If another wave comes, the players and their families will be very cautious. Therefore, it is expected that the BCCI will agree to organize the tournament in the UAE.
BCCI does not want to risk
The source said that after the suspension of IPL, BCCI officials do not want to take any kind of risk. There is to be an ICC meeting in June in which the final decision will be taken but after the postponement of IPL there is little chance of holding the tournament in India.
