Sydney: Team India would like to sweep the series by winning the third and last T20 match with Australia at Sydney Cricket Ground today. India will have a chance to do a clean sweep against Australia (Australia) for the second time in their T20s. India had earlier defeated Australia 3–0 in the T20 series under the captaincy of MS Dhoni in 2016.
India won the second T20 match by 6 wickets on 6 October, taking an unassailable 2-0 lead in the series. In this match, Hardik Pandya gave the team victory by playing an unbeaten innings of 42 runs off 22 balls with the bat. India won the first T20 by 11 runs at Manuka Oval in Canberra.

Team India captain Virat Kohli said after the second T20 match, ‘Before this match we said that we will be in good condition and we will get support from the fans. It gives you energy in this difficult time. The next match is going to be very exciting. We have won the series, but we want to be professional and we want to play fearlessly.
India had lost only one T20 match against Australia in 2008, since then they have either drawn the T20 series or re-named it. Both teams have their top level bowlers in the limited overs series. In the second T20, the pace bowlers were not seen by both the teams.
India gave Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammad Shami rest from the second T20 match. At the same time, Australia did not get the services of Mitchell Starc and Josh Hazlewood, while Pat Cummins is already out of the team.
Team India’s batting looks fantastic. Australian opener David Warner is suffering from an injury while Aaron Finch did not play in the second T20. Finch suffered an injury in the first match and was succeeded by Matthew Wade in the second match.
In the third T20 match to be played today, Hardik Pandya, Shikhar Dhawan, Shreyas Iyer (Shikhar Dhawan), Sanju Samson, Washington Sundar, Shardul Thakur, Deepak Chahar, T Natarajan, Manish Pandey and Yuzvendra Chahal Will have a chance to leave their mark.
