Sydney: Team India has been fined 20 percent of the match fees for the slow over rate in the third T20 match against Australia.
ICC match referee David Boon fined it. The Indian team was one over behind in the scheduled time in the match.

The ICC said in a statement, “For ICC players and support staff, under Section 2.22 of the Code of Conduct, they are fined 20 per cent of the match fee per over for failing to complete the overs within the stipulated time”.
Captain Virat Kohli accepted the sentence, so the case was not formally heard. The on-field umpire Rod Tucker, Gerrard Abood, TV umpire Paul Wilson and fourth umpire Sam Nogasky had complained.
