Indian captain Kohli will return home after the first Test match in Adelaide as the BCCI has allowed him a paternity leave. Kohli wants to be with his wife Anushka Sharma at the birth of their first child in early January.
Test expert Leon said that it was certainly disappointing that he would get limited opportunities to dismiss Kohli, one of the best batsmen in the world. He said, ‘It is disappointing for the series. You want to play against the best players in the world. I believe he is the best batsman in the world right now with Steve Smith and Marnus Labushen. It is disappointing but still he has superstars. ‘
“His team has top batsmen like (Cheteshwar) Pujara, Ajinkya (Rahane) and some good young players.” It will still be a big challenge for us. Virat is not playing, it does not mean that our trophy is sure to be won. We still have to work hard.
