new Delhi: Team India has suffered a big setback. All-rounder Ravindra Jadeja has dropped out of the three-match T20 series with Australia. Jadeja suffered a head injury during the first T20 match in Canberra. He had gone to concussion and replaced him as a spinner Yuzvendra Chahal’s Substitute.
In the match, Ravindra Jadeja was batting brilliantly, during which he got the ball on the helmet and he was seen groaning with pain. Although he finished his batting even after this, but now he is out of the remaining 2 matches.

Now the BCCI has issued a statement confirming this. The BCCI has said that Jadeja is still under the supervision of the BCCI medical team. He has some important scans to be done on Saturday.

Fast bowler Shardul Thakur has been included in the team in place of all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja.
After this, the All India Selection Committee included Thakur in the team for the T20 series. He was part of the team in the three-match ODI series and also bowled effectively while playing in the third match.
