India and Australia are gearing up for the upcoming three-match T20I series, starting on 20 September in Mohali. The Indian team includes captain Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli and Jasprit Bumrah among others, the Australian team also has some superstars like Glenn Maxwell, Tim David, Pat Cummins and Steve Smith. The Aaron Finch-led side is all set to give a tough fight to the hosts ahead of the upcoming T20 World Cup. On Monday, both the teams sweated hard in the practice ground and all-rounder Glenn Maxwell playing left-handed shots caught everyone’s attention.
It is important to note that Maxwell is one of the best players to ‘switch-hit’, and he can be seen as a way to further improve this particular shot while batting left-handed. He can use this opportunity against Indian spinners Yuzvendra Chahal, Ravichandran Ashwin and Axar Patel.
In a video posted on Punjab Cricket Association’s Twitter, right-hander Maxwell was seen hitting big shots with his left hand during a practice session.
