Third umpire’s first mistake

When Suryakumar Yadav was moving towards a big innings after applying Fifty, he had to bear the brunt of the wrong decision of the Third Umpire. Fury David Malan dived and tried to catch when Surya hit Sam Curran’s ball towards the fine leg. In the replays, the ball was seen touching the ground clearly, but the TV umpire upheld the decision of the field umpire.

Umpire Virender Sharma’s second mistake

In 19.4 overs, when Indian batsman Washington Sundar hit the ball of Jofra Archer, the fielder Adil Rashid on the brownie caught the ball. Rashid’s foot was seen touching the rope while holding the ball during the replays, despite this the TV umpire called Sundar out.
