Pune: The Indian cricket team captured the series by defeating England by 7 runs in the third and final ODI match played at Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune, but in spite of not getting the man of the match and man of the series Indian players Captain Virat Kohli expressed his regret. While giving credit to the bowlers for Kohli’s thrilling win against England, Shardul Thakur was surprised at the man of the match award and Bhuvneshwar Kumar for not getting the man of the series.
Sam Curren became Man of the Match and Bairstow Man of the Series
Shardul Thakur took 30 wickets in addition to scoring 30 runs, while Bhuvneshwar Kumar bowled well throughout the series. Sam Curran, who scored an unbeaten 95 runs for England in the third ODI, was named Man of the Match and Johnny Bairstow (Manny of the Series).

After the win, most credit goes to the bowlers: Virat Kohli
