Ind vs Eng: Chahal and Shardul Thakur became the reason for team India’s defeat, looted runs

Ahmedabad: In the third T20 match against England, Team India suffered a crushing defeat by 8 wickets. Virat Kohli’s unbeaten 77-run knock knocked out Jos Buttler’s unbeaten 83-run stormy innings. England won the third T20 match to take a 2–1 lead in the five-match series.

Chahal and Shardul looted runs

In this match, poor bowling became the reason for the defeat of Team India. Yuzvendra Chahal and Shardul Thakur looted runs. Shardul Thakur was the most expensive bowler. Shardul bowled 36 runs in 3.2 overs without bowling. Shardul had an economy rate of 10.80. Apart from Shardul Thakur, Yuzvendra Chahal took just one wicket by taking 41 runs in 4 overs. Yuzvendra Chahal was poor in the fielding and he also dripped Johnny Bairstow’s catch in the 17th over. Butler was lucky on scoring 76 runs when Kohli hit his easy catch on point off Chahal.

Jose Butler looted fiercely

England needed 30 runs to win in the final five overs, and this time Chahal overcame any hope of India’s return by dripping Bairstow off Shardul’s ball. Bairstow led England to victory with two consecutive fours over Shardul. Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Hardik Pandya and Shardul Thakur did not get any wickets. Jos Buttler looted the Indian bowlers and gave an unbeaten 83 to give his England team a 2–1 lead in the series.
