The England and Wales Cricket Board said in a statement, ‘Surrey batsman Oli Pope has been included in England’s Test team for the tour of India. Pope has fully recovered from his left shoulder injury in August 2020. England’s medical team is satisfied that they are available for selection.
He will bat at number 5 or 6 if selected for the first Test. On the other hand, Kraley suffered a wrist injury after slipping into the dressing room. The report of his scan is being awaited. The ECB said in a statement that he could not attend the practice session due to injury.
