Ahmedabad: Team India’s senior off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin became the fourth Indian bowler to take 400 Test wickets and the second fastest bowler in the world to do so. At the same time, Akshar Patel made headlines in his own second Test and took 11 wickets for 70 runs, which won him the ‘Player of the Match’.
Kohli praised both these spinners and said, ‘A strange match which was over in two days. When Jaddu (Ravindra Jadeja) was injured, many people were worried. But then this player (letter) comes, he bowls a little faster and also from height. If something happens in the wicket then it can be quite dangerous. ‘
Kohli said, ‘I think we will have to see what Ashwin did. In test, he is the legend of the current era. As captain, I am very happy that he is in my team. Joe Root did 100 Test matches to Ishant Sharma and also congratulated Ashwin for achieving 400 Test wickets.

Man of the match Akshar Patel said that his focus will always be on wicket-to-wicket bowling as he has benefited a lot in his short Test career. He jokingly said, “When it happens it seems very easy.” And if it does not happen then it seems difficult.
Patel said, ‘I am not thinking much. I want to continue this form. I am happy that if I am unable to contribute with the bat, I will do so with the ball. My strength is to bowl wicket-to-wicket. I want to put the dot ball as much as possible so that the batsmen have difficulty.
