New Delhi: After winning the Test series 3–1 between India and England (IND vs ENG), Team India secured the ticket for the final of the ICC World Test Championship. The last Test played in Ahmedabad, Virat’s army won by an innings and 25 runs.

Ashwin-Akshar redeemed England’s sweat

In the fourth Test match, the England team succumbed to Axar Patel and Ravichandran Ashwin (R Ashwin). Ashwin-Akshar took 17 wickets in the whole match. Ashwin and Akshar took 5-5 wickets in the second innings. Talking about the entire series, Ashwin has taken 32 wickets in this series, while Akshar has managed to take 27 wickets.

Pant-Sunder’s brilliant game

In the last Test match of the series, Rishabh Pant and Washington Sundar showed a great game. Rishabh played a magnificent century of 101 runs. While Sundar scored an unbeaten 96 runs. Pant was given the ‘Man of the Match’ award for his century played under immense pressure.

Fans enjoyed the England team

Despite winning the first match of the series by 227 runs, the England team failed to win the series. India made a tremendous comeback and knocked them out in the remaining three Tests.
