IND VS ENG: Team India took revenge by beating the British in Chennai, 1-1 equal test series

New Delhi: At Chepauk ground in Chennai, Team India registered a tremendous win by runs, avenging the first Test defeat to England. With this victory, the Indian team has made the four-match Test series 1-1. From the very beginning of this match, Virat Bredred dominated the England team and defeated the British in every department.

Team India’s ‘Dadagiri’

In the second Test, Team India won the toss and decided to bat first. Batting first, India’s opener Rohit Sharma put up a fierce class of English bowlers and played a brilliant innings of 161 runs in 231 balls in the first innings. Ajinkya Rahane also hit a crucial 67 in the first innings.

Rishabh Pant also batted brilliantly and remained unbeaten after scoring 58 runs. In this first innings, Team India strengthened their position by scoring 329 runs.

Ashwin’s ‘bang’

In response to 329 runs, the England team proved to be a complete flop and was reduced to just 134 runs. Ashwin bowled brilliantly for Team India and took 5 wickets.

Ashwin and Virat Kohli became the heroes for Team India in the second innings. Where the team was losing wickets very quickly. Captain Virat Kohli was leading the team’s score board from one end. Ashwin came to support them and both shared a 97-run partnership in 177 balls. Virat Kohli scored 62 runs in 149 balls while Ashwin played a vigorous innings and scored a century of 106 runs in 148 balls.

India won by runs

In the second innings, India scored 286 runs and set a target of 482 runs to win against England. England team flopped in chasing this huge goal even in the second innings and none of the team’s batsmen failed to do anything. Joe Root scored the most 33 runs. Akshar Patel took 5 wickets for India in the second innings. At the same time, Ashwin took 3 wickets and Kuldeep took 1 wicket.
