IND vs ENG Tests Series: All umpires will be Indians in Chennai, ICC released list

new Delhi: The 4-match Test series between India and Australia (IND vs ENG) will begin from February 5 at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai (Chennai), for which the ICC has appointed umpires. .

Anil Chaudhary, Virender Sharma and Nitin Menon will be umpiring in the first 2 Tests, both of which will be played in Chennai. Menon is included in the ICC Elite Panel.

Due to Coronavirus Pandemic, the ICC has approved the match officials of the home team for all matches of the World Test Championship.

2 umpires will make a test debut

Anil Chaudhary and Virender Sharma will start their Test umpiring careers. Chaudhary has experience of 20 ODIs and 28 T20 Internationals, while Sharma has officiated in 2 ODIs and the only T20 International.

Who will be the umpire in the last 2 Tests?

The ICC has not released the list of umpires for the last 2 Tests. Both these tests will be played at Motera Stadium in Ahmedabad. The third Test will be played from 24 February while the fourth and final Test will be played from 4 March.
