Pune: Former explosive opener Virender Sehwag has raised questions on the selection of Team India. In the first ODI against England, leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal was not given a place in the playing eleven of the Indian team.
Sehwag furious over team management
Questioning the decisions of the Indian team management, Sehwag has said that you exclude the bowlers only after a bad match, but give a lot of opportunities to the batsmen. Sehwag said in a conversation with Cricbuzz that a different scale is being tried regarding the selection of batsman and bowler.
Questions raised over not giving Chahal a chance
Sehwag said, “You made KL Rahul sit out by giving him four chances, but when bowlers don’t do well then why don’t they give him so many chances.” Sehwag said, ‘Yuzvendra Chahal is one of your top 20 bowlers. He gives you wickets, and if he played 2-3 matches poorly, he was put out.

Let us know that Yuzvendra Chahal did not get a place in the playing eleven in the first ODI against England. Kuldeep Yadav was given the chance to replace Chahal. The second ODI between India and England will be played in Pune on 26 March. India is leading 1-0 in the series. In the first ODI, India defeated England by 66 runs.
