After England were bowled out for 112 runs in the first innings, India scored 99 runs for 3 wickets till the end of the day’s play. England bowed in front of India
England’s first innings was reduced to 112 runs on the first day of the third Test of the four-match series at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. England had decided to bat first by winning the toss in this match, but England’s decision did not prove to be good and their entire team was all out in just 48.4 overs.
7 batsmen could not touch ten figures
In the first innings of the third Test, the English batsmen appeared so much in front of the Indian bowlers that even their seven batsmen could not touch the double figures. For England, only Jack Crawley was able to play a half-century innings of 53 runs. Apart from Crowley, no England batsman survived.
