Especially the Pakistani team must have been very nervous before this match. The reason behind this is that Pakistan has not been able to beat India in the World Cup till date. Meanwhile, former Pakistan fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar has made a tweet about Pakistan captain Babar Azam.

Akhtar said this to Babar Azam

Former Pakistan pacer Shoaib Akhtar jokingly tried to de-stress Pakistan captain Babar Azam ahead of the interesting match against India in the ICC T20 World Cup on Sunday. He took to Twitter to share an ‘important point’ with Babar. Akhtar tweeted, ‘Important thing Babar Azam, first of all, you don’t have to panic.’

Both teams are under a lot of pressure

No matter how much the players of India and Pakistan may say that today’s match is like a normal match for them, but they know that the tension of this cricket war, which has been going on for years, is visible in the players and their fans. Virat Kohli-led Indian team will take on Babar Azam’s Pakistan team in the Super 12 stage of the T20 World Cup at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Sunday.

Only in ICC tournaments

India last hosted Pakistan in a bilateral series in 2012 and the two teams now meet only in ICC tournaments. The two teams last met in the group stages of the 2019 ICC Cricket World Cup, with India defeating rivals to maintain their undefeated World Cup streak.

The two arch-rivals have met each other five times in the T20 World Cup and the ‘Men in Blue’ have won on all occasions. However, both the teams are waiting to create a new history on October 24 and they will have an equal chance of winning.
