India Legends wins Road Safety World Series, fans salute on Twitter


Raipur: India Legends defeated Sri Lanka Legends by 14 runs in the final played at the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Cricket Stadium on the basis of their superb game of the Road Safety World Series T20 tournament. Took the title to his name.

Amazing of India legends
Batting first, India Legends scored 181 runs for four wickets and then stopped Sri Lanka Legends for 167 runs for 7 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs. Chasing a target of 182 runs from India, Sri Lanka got off to a brilliant start by skipper Tillakaratne Dilshan (21) and Sanath Jayasuriya (43) adding 62 runs in 7.2 overs for the first wicket.

Yusuf gave a shock to Dilshan
Dilshan-Jayasuriya’s growing partnership was broken by Yusuf Pathan by Dilshan caught by wicketkeeper Pragyan Ojha. Dilshan hit 3 fours in 18 balls. After Yusuf, Irfan Pathan gave his second blow to Sri Lanka by catching Chamara Silva (2) in the street at the hands of S Badrinath in his very first over.
