India vs Australia 4th Test: Washington Sundar equals 72 year old record, became the second Indian to achieve this position

new Delhi: On the third day of the fourth Test against Australia, Washington Sundar (Shardul Thakur) of Team India did wonders. These two young players saved the Indian team from drowning and shared a record partnership. The special thing is that Washington Sundar has made his debut in this test and he impressed everyone with his performance.

Washington Sundar has become the second Indian to score a half-century apart from taking three or more wickets in the debut test for India. Sundar debuted in the fourth Test match in Brisbane, dismissing three of Australia’s batsmen and then removed India with a brilliant half-century.

Earlier, the incident happened in a Test match for India in the 1947–48 series. The first time Azad India’s team went on a tour of Australia, Dattu Phadkar made his debut with the Sydney Test as an all-rounder.

Phadkar (Dattu Phadkar) had scored an innings of 51 runs, in which he hit four boundaries, facing 101 balls. After this, Fadkar took three wickets of Australia in 14 overs including two maidens.

Now Sundar (Washington Sundar) has repeated the same record after 72 years. In addition to scoring a half-century in Brisbane, Sundar took three wickets for 89 runs. It also includes the wicket of Steve Smith.
