Dubai: Explosive batsman AB de Villiers of IPL franchise Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) has praised Virat Kohli, saying that the captain always leads the team and sets an example. De Villiers also said that it is easy for the players to follow the captain in the team. The Royal Challengers Bangalore team is eyeing to become champions for the first time in the upcoming 13th season of the league, which starts in UAE from Saturday.

RCB has posted a video on its official Twitter, in which de Villiers said, ‘I think things were cleared about the IPL a month ago. BCCI has done a great job in starting the IPL. We are very excited to play the tournament. I feel better than before, so I want to help the team by playing well there with the players of the team. RCB team will play their first match in the 13th season of IPL against Sunrisers Hyderabad in Dubai on 21 September.

He said, ‘We have worked very hard. We have a good work ethic. In fact, it seems that all of us have bought this hard working environment. The credit goes to Virat. They set the example and lead the team from the front. When you have a captain who always leads and leads the team, it is very easy to follow them.
De Villiers, who has played 154 matches for RCB so far in the IPL, further said that the team is feeling a different way this year. He said, ‘This time there is a different feeling. We have back up everywhere. Virat and the coach can select the best playing XI. We have a choice in every department.
