New Delhi: Former India opener and current commentator Aakash Chopra has taken a dig at many players after RCB’s defeat. Akash has especially targeted RCB team bowler Umesh Yadav (Umesh Yadav). He has said in his YouTube video, ‘Umesh Yadav’s overs are more expensive than gold nowadays. He has proved to be a modest bowler, even as many balls he has thrown on his feet, even Diwali gifts are not available. As an Indian bowler, he has high expectations.

Significantly, in the match against Kings XI Punjab, fast bowler Umesh Yadav proved to be very expensive. He scored 35 runs in 3 overs at an economy rate of 11.66, including one wide and one no ball. Apart from Umesh, his own team bowler Dale Steyn also conceded an economy rate of 14.25 in 4 overs. Overall, the bowling of this team was very disappointing, which directly benefited Punjab.
Akash has raised questions on RCB captain Virat Kohli for not using the bowlers properly. He has said, ‘If we talk about Virat Kohli’s captaincy, I am not happy with the way he has confused the bowling order.’ However, Virat Kohli claimed responsibility for the loss after the match and said to learn from the mistakes and move forward.
