Abu Dhabi: After losing 5 wickets against Mumbai Indians (MI), Delhi Capitals (DC) captain Shreyas Iyer said that the team scored 10-15 runs less and hence lost. Delhi had set a target of 163 runs against Mumbai in the match played at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium on Sunday with an unbeaten 69 from Shikhar Dhawan.

Mumbai achieved this target on the basis of 53 runs of Suryakumar Yadav and Quinton Dickock, losing 5 wickets while remaining 2 balls. After the match, Iyer said, ‘We scored 10-15 runs less. I think the score of 175 runs would have been excellent. We suffered a lot when Marcus Stoinis was out. Iyer said that the team also needs to work on its fielding.
Iyer said, ‘This is such a thing, on which we have to work. We have to work on our fielding. Overall, they beat us in every way. In the next match, we also have to work on our mindset. I think it is important for us not to take anything lightly. There are some things that we need to work on. Rishabh Pant did not play in this match. Iyer said about them, ‘We do not know when Pant will return. I spoke to the doctor and he said that he will take a week’s rest.
