Dubai: Australian all-rounder Mitchell Marsh is unaware of the seriousness of the injury suffered during the Indian Premier League 2020 (IPL 2020) match as his right ankle scan report in the UAE was lost. Marsh said, ‘We don’t really know what happened to the scan report in the UAE. Cricket Australia has not received it yet. In such a situation, this is a strange situation.

Marsh twisted his ankle while diving during bowling against RCB in the first match of Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH). Marsh was given the ball by captain David Warner in the 5th over, but he could bowl only 4 balls. Marsh, who suffered injuries in his career, suffered a heel injury while trying to save a shot of Aaron Finch.
He is currently in a Perth hotel in Quarantine for 14 days. He has been ruled out of this T20 tournament due to injury. He said, ‘Hopefully, if approved, I will be able to do another scan this week which will clear a lot. It was very disappointing and unfortunate. I have dived thousands of times in my career to catch the ball in this way.
