Priyam scored 51 runs off 26 balls and scored his first half-century in the IPL. He shared a 77-run partnership with Abhishek to bring the team to a score of 164 runs at the loss of 5 five wickets. The team succeeded in achieving this goal in front of Chennai Super Kings. Chennai could score 157 runs after losing 5 wickets in 20 overs.
On her partnership with Abhishek, Priyam said, ‘When Abhishek came to bat, there was no pressure on me because we know each other very well and also each other’s strength. We both got together and enjoyed batting with each other. I am very happy to have my first IPL half-century. Hyderabad now have to play their next match against Mumbai Indians.
