New Delhi: After a long wait, the IPL 2020 (IPL 2020) finally started and in the very first match, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) defeated the defending champions Mumbai Indians (MI) by 5 wickets. With this, Chawla became the first wicket-taker in the 13th season of IPL. Piyush took 151 wickets of IPL career.

With this wicket, Piyush has reached number three in terms of highest wicket in IPL history and has left behind Harbhajan Singh (150 wickets) of his own team. The record for taking the highest wicket in the IPL is in the name of Lasith Malinga (170 wickets), second place is Amit Mishra (157 wickets).
