IPL 2020: RCB’s Adam Jampa reveals, ‘Virat Kohli has 2 different forms’

Dubai: Australia leg-spinner Adam Zampa has said that Indian captain Virat Kohli is extremely competitive on the field, but he is a completely different person off the field. Zampa shared RCB’s dressing room with Kohli in IPL-2020. Kohli is the captain of Bangalore.

Zampa said, ‘He is a completely different person off the field. You have seen his aggressive style and seen how competitive he is on the field. But he is among those players outside the field who live very comfortably.

He said, ‘Obviously, you always play against them. You get to know how he is on the field and then get a chance to spend time with him off the cricket field, then you see how he is in reality. Jampa played just 3 matches for Virat Kohli’s RCB team in IPL 2020 and took 2 wickets.

The Australian player said, ‘He is the kind of player that as soon as he gets on the field, he becomes very competitive. I have seen this while playing with them. They have two different forms. They are under pressure to hope of doing well for India. But when he is a very brilliant person off the field. He said, ‘He is such a person who laughs a lot. You hit one of the world’s worst jokes and he will laugh.
