Abu Dhabi: Mumbai Indians (MI) captain Rohit Sharma (Rohit Sharma) said after registering an impressive 8-wicket win against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the IPL 2020 match, chasing such a goal is a glorious victory. After winning the KKR for 148 runs for 5 wickets, Mumbai Indians scored a big win by scoring 149 runs for 2 wickets in 16.5 overs. Quinton Dickock scored an unbeaten 78 off 44 balls for Mumbai.

Rohit said in the award ceremony after the match, ‘It is fantastic to record such an impressive victory while chasing the target. This will increase our confidence a lot. Rohit said that the team batting later in the tournament will win more matches. He said, ‘I believe that the team batting later will now win more matches. In this match, we bowled effectively with the first ball.
Rohit shared a 94-run partnership with Quinton de Kock for the first wicket with an innings of 35 runs in the match. He said, ‘I like playing with Dickock. Most of the time he adopts an aggressive attitude and I stand with him.
In his unbeaten innings, Dickock made some cracking shots in the leg side. When asked about this, he said, ‘I take good shots on the leg side. It is not that I had made any plans for this but it is a natural part of my game.
He said that he was disappointed that he did not bat till the last match. Dickock said, ‘In the last match, I was not present at the crease to win the team, which I was disappointed. I asked Mahela Jayawardene (coach) to make some improvements which benefited me. New KKR captain Eoin Morgan said that it was difficult to stop him from the way Mumbai batted.
He said, ‘We were never in better condition than today. Although we had scored struggling runs, the way Mumbai batted it was difficult to stop them. When asked about Dinesh Karthik himself being sent to bat first, he said, “We wanted to give our best as per the match situation.”
