Dubai: After the defeat on Thursday at the hands of Sunrisers Hyderabad, Rajasthan Royals captain Steve Smith said that his team could not maintain a good start. While batting first, Rajasthan had set a target of 155 runs in front of Hyderabad. Hyderabad achieved the target by losing 2 wickets.

Rajasthan took 2 wickets in the beginning and put the Hyderabad team in trouble, but Manish Pandey and Vijay Shankar made a century partnership to give the team a stunning victory by 8 wickets. Pandey scored an unbeaten 83 and Shankar scored an unbeaten 52 and a 140-run partnership for the third wicket gave Hyderabad the victory.
Smith said after the match, ‘I think we started well. Jofra Archer did a good job with 2 wickets, but we could not continue it. The wicket was good. There was some dew. Archer’s third over was going on in my mind, I also discussed. I think Archer should have got the third consecutive over.
