Abu Dhabi: Delhi Capitals opener Shikhar Dhawan batted brilliantly against Sunrisers Hyderabad in the second qualifier of IPL-13. Dhawan scored 78 runs in 50 balls. But the way he got out, he is being criticized for not taking a review.
In the match, Sandeep Sharma was doing the 19th over and Dhawan was on strike. On the third ball of the 19th over, Sandeep dismissed Dhawan LBW. Dhawan felt that the ball was directly on his pad and he was found in front of the wicket, but when he reached the boundary, he felt that he should have reviewed.
If Dhawan had taken a review, he could have survived, in the replays, he knew that the ball was not hit on the stump. But Dhawan did not think about DRS and went straight towards the pavilion.

After the match, former Indian team all-rounder Yuvraj Singh started trolling Dhawan for not taking a review. Yuvraj wrote on Twitter, ‘In the last two overs, the bowlers made a great comeback and there was not a single boundary. Natarajan and Sandeep Sharma deserve praise. Work done well in a pressure match. Man in form Shikhar Dhawan, but the name is Jatti. What brother of DRS Must have forgotten forever ‘.

Dhawan, while answering Yuvraj’s words in Punjabi language, said, ‘Paji, I have been out since I started going out. But when I reached the boundary, I came to know.
Thanks to Dhawan’s half-century, Delhi scored 189 runs for three wickets. In reply, Hyderabad were able to score 178 runs after losing eight wickets. Won the match for the first time by winning the match by 17 runs.
Delhi will now face four-time champions Mumbai Indians in the final.
