IPL 2021: Ab de Villiers imitates Virat Kohli, celebrates victory in a fun way


New Delhi: Virat Kohli’s team RCB is in high spirits after a blistering 52-run victory against Mumbai (MI) in the second phase of IPL 2021. The players of Bangalore celebrated the victory in a grand manner. Especially Ab de Villiers robbed the gathering.

RCB players seen in fun mood

After the victory against Mumbai Indians, the atmosphere of RCB’s dressing room became pleasant. Along with captain Virat Kohli, Yuzvendra Chahal, Glenn Maxwell and AB de Villiers were seen in the mood for fun.

ABD has copied Virat

The RCB team has shared the post-match video on its social media account. In this, de Villiers is jokingly saying, ‘It was a boring match.’ After this, he was seen imitating Virat Kohli’s way of celebrating. ABD again copied Kohli and said, ‘Keep calm boys, it was just one match.’

UG also showed fun style

Virat Kohli was saying something to increase the enthusiasm of his team, in the middle of which AB de Villiers came running and hugged Virat. Yuzvendra Chahal dropped his phone in front of Glenn Maxwell and imitated him to catch a dive.

‘Have to work hard’

After the victory of RCB, Virat Kohli gave a special message to the team. He said, ‘We knew that against a team like Mumbai, we were not going to get anything. We have to work hard to get it and the result of that hard work has been visible for more than 36 overs.

‘No need to be overjoyed’

Kohli further said, ‘Finally it became a path and we deserved this position. At no point in the match did I feel that we were out of the match. That’s what we’ve always wanted to do on the field. So we should be very proud of the win, but don’t get too excited about it.

Struggling for the playoffs

Virat Kohli’s team RCB needs to win 2 out of the next 4 matches to reach the playoffs. Bangalore has to play its next match against Rajasthan Royals on 29 September.
