IPL 2021: David Warner benefited despite losing to RCB, broke MS Dhoni’s record


New Delhi: In the sixth match of IPL 2021, RCB defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) by 6 runs. However, this match was special for Hyderabad captain David Warner. Warner scored an innings of 54 runs in 37 balls in this match. Warner has broken a record of CSK captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni (MS Dhoni) on the strength of his special innings.

Warner overtakes Dhoni

Just after hitting the 49th half-century of his IPL career against RCB, Warner (MS) has overtaken MS Dhoni for the highest number of runs against RCB. Warner now has 877 runs against RCB. While Dhoni has scored 854 runs against Virat Kohli’s team. At number three is Dhoni’s teammate Suresh Raina, who has scored 755 runs. The next number comes from Rohit Sharma, who has scored 716 runs against RCB.

Warner names the most fifty

Apart from this record, Warner (David Warner) also has the record of the most fifty in the IPL. Warner has 49 Fifty Names in the IPL. The second number is Shikhar Dhawan of Delhi Capitals, whose name is 42 Pachas. At number three is RCB captain Virat Kohli, who has hit 39 half-centuries in the IPL.

RCB won the match

Talking about the match, the RCB batted first and scored a score of 149 runs. Glenn Maxwell scored the highest 59 runs from RCB. In response, Hyderabad’s team could only manage 143 runs after losing 9 wickets, despite the contempt of David Warner. The match was once in Hyderabad’s hands, but RCB’s young spinner Shahbaz Ahmed changed the match’s approach to RCB by taking three wickets in an over.
