IPL 2021: Devdutt Padikkal churned out a stormy century, leaving Sanju Samson behind; Created these records


New Delhi: In the 16th match of IPL 2021 (Virat Kohli), the army of Virat Kohli achieved a spectacular victory by 10 wickets in the match between RCB and Rajasthan (RCB vs RR) in the 16th match.

Devdutt Padikkal created history

Bangalore’s young batsman Devdutt Padikkal made history by hitting a century against Rajasthan Royals in the match played at Wankhede Stadium. The 20-year-old, batting vigorously, played a tremendous innings of 101 not out with the help of 11 fours and 5 sixes in 52 balls. During this innings, Padikkal took many special records to his name.

Devdutt Padikkal (Devdutt Padikkal) left many players behind with a century against Rajasthan. Padikkal did this amazing at the age of 20 years and 298 days. Only Manish Pandey and Rishabh Pant are ahead of him in this list. Manish scored his first IPL century at the age of 19 years 253 days and Rishabh 20 years 218 days. While he has left behind Sanju Samson. Samson scored a century at the age of 22.

Apart from this, he is only the fourth player to score a century in the IPL before making his debut in international cricket. First of all, Shaun Marsh, Manish Pandey and Paul Valthaty have done this feat in the IPL.

Virat-Padikkal’s excellent partnership

Chasing a target of 178 runs against Rajasthan, RCB openers Virat Kohli and Devdutt Padikkal (181 not out) shared an unbeaten partnership of 181 runs. Virat scored 72 * and Padikkal scored 101 *.
