Meanwhile, the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) is fearing that it might lose many of its big players regarding the IPL.

No clash with players regarding IPL

The ECB’s Director of Cricket Ashley Giles says that the Board does not want a confrontation with the players because of participation in the IPL because if they were asked to choose between the IPL and the national team If the team, they can lose some top players.

Giles said in a BBC show, ‘Our players like to play for England. I do not want any difficult situation to arise. We have to understand that this can be bad for the future. We do not particularly want to clash with our players regarding participation in the IPL because in such a situation we may have to lose some big players.

Let me tell you that many big players of England including Jose Butler have made it clear that they can skip some matches of their country team to play in this league. Due to which the ECB has decided that all the players of England who reach the final stage of IPL will not be called back.
