New Delhi: The countdown of the 14th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL 14) has now started. But before this, the 2016 winner Sunrisers Hyderabad has received a major setback. The Hyderabad team had to lose to Australia’s star allrounder Mitchell Marsh even before the start of IPL 2021.
Marsh does not want to live in bio-bubble
According to Cricbuzz, Mitchell Marsh stated the reason for not participating in the IPL this year, saying that he cannot stay in the bio-bubble for a long time. Explain that due to the increasing cases of Corona Virus, bio-bubble was brought into cricket.
What is bio bubble?
In view of the risk of coronavirus epidemic, a special area is prepared for all the players, coaches, support staff and match officials of a team, it is called ‘Bio Bubble’. There is no contact of any outside person in this area.
Marsh was out last year too
This is not the first time in the IPL when Mitchell Marsh got out of it. He had already dropped out of the match last year while playing for Sunrisers Hyderabad. Marshal (Mitchell Marsh) suffered an ankle injury during the opening match of IPL 2020 in September last year, after which he was forced out of the entire league.
Sunrisers Hyderabad will start their IPL season this year from 11 April. Hyderabad have to face Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in their first match.
Jason Roy will replace
In place of Marsh, Hyderabad has included England’s fastest opening batsman Jason Roy in their team. Roy was not bought by any team in this year’s mini auction.
