Dubai: Mumbai Indians (MI) Director of Cricket Operations Zaheer Khan has said that he has not seen any aggression in the players till now and also cautioned the team that they do not have much time left to go to the IPL playoffs. Five-time winner Mumbai’s team has lost the third consecutive match in the second match of this season being played in UAE.

Zaheer Khan said, ‘I think we are not able to push ourselves forward. You should have 40 good overs of cricket. To win the game of cricket, you have to play good cricket in those 40 overs. So we have been playing well in the patch but haven’t really been able to maintain it and that’s what happened till now.

Zaheer warns MI
Zaheer Khan said that time is running out continuously and the players need to get into the rhythm soon. Zaheer said, ‘We don’t have much time left now. We have to handle things soon. In the coming matches, we have to win by all means. It is important for the team that everyone is united and win the match.
‘Aggression was lacking’
Zaheer said, ‘This resolution is going to be very important in the future. We have to believe. This team has done that in the past and there’s no reason we can’t. But you are right, the way Mumbai is known for dominating and playing cricket, that aggressive nature of cricket, we have not seen yet.
