In a fresh statement about this tournament, the BCCI has said that if a cricketer wants to be privately involved in the auction for the 14th season of IPL, the board will talk directly with the state associations. Under no circumstances will the player’s agent be called for this.

This is how the claim will be presented
The BCCI has also said that the list of players that the franchisees are maintaining will have to be released by January 20. Cricketers with no agreement can submit their claim with the IPL 2021 Player Agreement till 4 February.
When will the auction take place?
It is expected that the auction for IPL 2021 (IPL Auction 2021) will take place on 16 February. The state association has been told that if they want to put a player in the auction, they should send their name after completing all the formalities.
This is the condition for under-19
The BCCI has also set certain conditions for the under-19 players who want to participate in the auction. All such players should be registered with the state associations and the player must have played at least one First Class or List-A match.
Rules for retired domestic players
The board has also placed a condition for uncapped players who have retired from domestic cricket and that is that if they want to take part in the sapphires, they have to submit documents related to retirement from the state associations.
Will there be IPL 2021 in India?
Due to Coronavirus epidemic, the IPL was held late last year in the UAE, but was won by the Mumbai Indians. Where it will be organized this year, it is not clear yet, but Sourav Ganguly wants to organize it in India only.
