Irfan Pathan’s big statement, ‘Warner responsible for Hyderabad’s bad game’

New Delhi: IPL 2021 was intercepted due to increasing cases of Corona Virus. Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) team’s performance in the first half of the IPL was very poor and the team was also at the bottom of the league table. Many stalwarts are blaming their former captain David Warner for Hyderabad’s poor performance.

Pathan lashes out at Warner

Meanwhile, Team India’s former star Allrounder Irfan Pathan has blamed David Warner for Hyderabad’s poor game. On a show by Star Sports, Irrfan said, ‘Sunrisers shocked me this year. This team was one of my top four teams. Hyderabad’s biggest problem was the captaincy of David Warner. The way he was captaining the team and the way he was batting carefully, there have been problems. Pathan also said that Kane Williamson was made the captain of the team because the management was not happy with Warner’s captaincy.

Hyderabad’s performance deteriorated

Hyderabad (SRH) team had the worst performance so far this year in IPL. Hyderabad had played 7 matches in the first half of which they won in just one. Under the captaincy of David Warner, Hyderabad played 6 matches and won only one. The captain of the team was later made Kane Williamson, but under his captaincy, Hyderabad lost their match.

Won the title under the captaincy of Warner

Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) has won the title once in the IPL. In 2016, Sunrisers Hyderabad won the title by defeating RCB in the final. The team captain at that time was David Warner. Not only this, Warner is also the only batsman to have won the Orange Cap for three times in IPL history.
