Kapil Dev said to play golf as soon as his health improves

new Delhi: The angioplasty of Kapil Dev (Kapil Dev), which gave India the first World Cup, has been successful and this great player is healthy. Not only this, Kapil is thinking about going to the golf course right now.

Kapil was the captain of 1983 World Cup winning Indian cricket team. This team has a WhatsApp group of players. In this group, former colleagues of Kapil’s team wished him good health soon.

Kapil Dev wrote in response to all these prayers, ‘I am good and I am doing well now. I am on my way to speeding up. Can’t wait to play golf. You guys are my family Thank you’.

A member of the World Cup winning team said, ‘A man with a big heart, Kapil, is recovering quickly. According to his character, he changed the difficult times’.

Kapil Dev underwent a successful emergency coronary angioplasty at Fortis Escorts Hospital in Delhi on Friday. The hospital confirmed this and said that 61-year-old Kapil was admitted after a heart attack on Thursday night. The hospital further informed that Kapil’s condition is stable and he will be discharged in the next few days.

The hospital said in a statement, ‘Former Indian cricket captain Kapil Dev was admitted to Fortis Hospital in Okhla, Delhi at 1 pm on Thursday after complaining of chest pain. Later his emergency angioplasty was done under the supervision of Dr. Atul Mathur ‘.

The doctor also said that the legendary cricketer had a sugar problem for a long time.

He said, ‘In a diabetic patient, more calcium is stored in the blood vessels. Therefore, this is an issue that may occur for patients undergoing geoplasty. But he is stable ‘.

Kapil Dev, who once held the record for taking the most wickets in Test cricket, retired from Test cricket in 1994. He remained the highest Test wicket-taker for six years. After him, his record was broken by England’s Cortney Walsh.

India won the World Cup for the first time in 1983 under the captaincy of Kapil Dev.

Let us know that Kapil Dev has played 131 Tests and 225 ODIs for India, in which he has scored 5248 and 3783 runs respectively. Apart from this, he has also played 275 first-class matches and 310 List-A matches.
